Hög Adventure Park

Take the Alpkopfbahn cable car up to the mid station at 1,829 metres above sea level. Once you exit the cable car, it’s time for some fun and action! Everything at the Hög Adventure Park is related to alpine farming and forestry. The origins of the Hög reservoir are explained in the form of a fairy tale told inside a giant milk can.

Visitors to the park around the Hög reservoir in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis are delighted by its many play stations:

  • wooden ball track
  • skill track "The Old Stable"
  • water labyrinth
  • cowpat trampoline
  • milk can memory
  • throwing game
  • cowbell game
  • "Wabbelwiese"
  • separate shallow water area for the smaller children
  • fenced in wood chopper playground for the smallest
  • and many more

Högsee lake at 1,829 metres above sea level provides a welcome refreshment for all visitors. Water sports enthusiasts can either go for a swim or take a ride on one of the pedal boats, stand-up paddles or kayaks. Several bathing jetties, jump tower and a floating island invite to relax and sunbathe. Adventurous kids even get to follow in the footsteps of Huckleberry Finn, steering their self-built raft through a tricky water labyrinth. Watch out: That’s shaky business!

A further highlight at Hög Adventure Park is the Family Coaster "Schneisenfeger" for visitors young and old. Schneisenfeger guarantees toboggan fun for the whole family in summer as well as in winter.

From the top of Alpkopf, all toboggan lovers whiz down a specially designed 1.5 km route to the Hög Advendure Park with up to 40 km/h. The Schneisenfeger coaster definitely isn’t for the faint-hearted! 360-degree spins and 180-degree turns make a ride on this state-of-the-art toboggan run an adrenaline-filled experience. But that’s not all: it’s also easy to operate and absolutely safe. So off you go! Time to explore the Serfaus mountains – hell bent for leather!

The Gold Cache leads treasure hunters to the Högsee lake reservoir. According to legend, this cache was formed during a violent storm in the mountains. The storm not only washed away the hut of Johannes the dairyman, but also carried off a milk can. This was the churn in which Johannes had been saving his money. Hit by lightning, the milk churn flew through the air and the hard-earned gold coins were scattered in all directions. When the storm was over, Johannes the dairyman and his dog Bari set out to search for the gold coins...

Are you courageous and not afraid of water? Can you decode the secret characters that are engraved into the coins? Then come to the boat dock at Högsee and set out with your smartphone and the SFL caching app on a pedal boat equipped with an underwater telescope to look for the lost coins from the giant milk can.

The Adventure Park also does not lack culinary delights. The country-style full-service restaurant Seealm Hög – located right by Lake Hög – offers 210 seats indoors and 410 outside on the terrace. The sun terrace extends invitingly all the way to the lakeshore and guarantees enjoyment for all the senses. The menu surprises with its trendy vegetarian and vegan cuisine as well as fish specialties. Further highlights include the homemade ice cream as well as the homemade wood fired bread.
