Culinary Autumn

Marvel at old trinkets coming from various nations in Europe from 11.09.2026-13.09.2026. The tractor and vintage car festival in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis gives you the opportunity to accompany the participants and their favourites. The tractors and classic cars will shine in their former glory once again, bringing together history, passion, and the unique charm of bygone times.

As part of the Culinary Autumn in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, the art exhibition "Art on the Mountain" is held at the Schönjoch at 2440 meters above sea level. Watch live as artists create their works right on-site and let yourself be enchanted by the inspiring atmosphere in the heart of nature. You can observe numerous artists, among others masons, sculptors, wood carvers, embroiderers, feather stickers, painters and potters live in your work. Do not miss this opportunity to look the artists over their shoulders.

The „Almabtrieb" is one of the most beautiful annual events in the alpine regions in autumn. During summer, all over the alpine regions cow herds feed on alpine pastures (Almen) high up in the mountains. In autumn the cow train brings back the cows to their farmers and stables down in the villages. The cows are decorated elaborately with a special head decoration made out of branches, flowers, pasture and ribbons. The Almabtrieb is celebrated with a music event at the pavilion in the middle of the village.

Thanks Giving takes place in Fiss in September each year – at the end of the harvest. It begins with a service in church and then performs as part of a procession on the streets and fields of Fiss.
