Relax, breathe in, and unwind – there is nothing better than putting up one’s feet after an exciting day. Relax and reenergize at the 140-m² large sauna area. We offer an island of respite amidst the mountains – relaxing and refreshing at the same time. Find solace for your soul, free your mind and simply enjoy.

  • Winter: The sauna area is open daily (except Saturdays) from 2:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • Summer: On request the sauna area is open one day each week (usually on Wednesday). Additionally when there is bad weather if there are enough requests.
  • We provide you with sufficient sauna towels free of charge. Fresh towels for sauna are ready for use in the sauna area. Please do not take any sauna towels with you into the apartment.
  • Bathrobes can be loaned for a small fee (EUR 10.00). You can keep the bathrobe with you for the duration of your stay.

The sauna area is open only for adults and youth 15 years of age and older. Please understand that children under 15 years of age are not permitted to enter the sauna area. Textile-free zone and relaxing area! Thank you for your understanding.

  • We kindly ask you to take a shower before entering the sauna and to sit on a towel.
  • Textile free zone! Due to hygienic reasons, it is not allowed to wear bathing suits in the sauna.
  • If technical problems or an injury occur, please come to the front desk. A first aid kit and a defibrillator is available.
  • Shoes and boots, sport bags etc. can be stored in the changing room next to the sauna area. You can find a wardrobe for your light clothing directly in the sauna area.

 

Finnish Sauna – Temperature: 90 °C

  • Take two sauna towels and place one of them on your lounger.
  • First take a warm shower and dry rub your skin carefully.
  • Take one sauna towel with you into the sauna cabin and place the towel correctly, so that as less as sweat possible drops on the wooden benches.
  • Turn the hourglass and enjoy. In about 15 minutes the hourglass has run through.
    If you have any problems with your circulation, take a seat on a lower bench. It is not that hot at the bottom, and you can leave the sauna quickly if necessary.
  • After the sauna session take a short shower again and hop into the cold-water plunge pool or use the cold flush shower. If you prefer to go outside, please use the main stairs in the hotel.
  • The relaxation area should help you to calm down and relax. The pleasant music should inspire you. Relax at least as long as your session in the sauna cabin lasted.
    Two sauna sessions are pleasant.
  • Important information: if you feel ill or drank alcohol before a visit in the sauna can be dangerous!Zwei Saunatücher nehmen und eines davon auf der Saunaliege ablegen.

 

 

Aroma Steam Bath – Temperature: appr. 45°C

  • A session in the steam bath is easily doable and relaxing for persons having problems with their circulation.
  • Please use the hose after your steam bath session and wash down the bench.

 

 

Infrared Cabin – Temperature: 25 – 37°C

  • Regenerating – relaxing – cleansing – feeling good – this is possible in the infrared cabin.
  • Infrared radiation is the perfect opportunity to relieve muscle tension and dorsal pain after an exhausting day of hiking or skiing.
  • The deep heat improves your well-being, promotes psychological relaxation, and relieves pain or muscle tension after an active day outdoors by slightly increasing your body temperature. In addition, it helps alleviate all kinds of chronic discomfort of the musculoskeletal system.
  • Phystiotherms patented lava sand technology enables the body to break out in an agreeable healthy sweat at 30° C without placing stress on the circulatory system.
  • Before using it is recommendable to drink a glass of water and to take a warm shower.
